Executive Housekeeper

Location :

BHMA Representative Office – District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Candidate :

Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken Vietnamese and English, and must have the legal right to live and work in Vietnam as a work permit is not available for this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all hotel guest rooms and public areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are met
  • Establish standards and guidelines to ensure total guest satisfaction and team productivity in compliance with SOPs
  • Supervise training of all housekeeping team members to ensure successful operation
  • Measure, interpret and evaluate working standard of the department
  • Create and maintain good working relationships within and with other departments
  • Control all purchases for the department and be consistently aware of quality and cost
  • Show by personal example a philosophy of work and conduct consistent with the professionalism expected
  • Manage and control all operation equipment, linen and uniforms
  • Set short and long term strategies for the department

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experiences in a similar role with preferable previous experiences in a five star hotel
  • Good command of English plus excellent presentation & communication skills
  • Hands-on professional with a solid Housekeeping background and the passion for quality and excellence
  • Must have previous pre-opening experience
  • Familiar with budgeting and planning
  • Great personality and positive attitude
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent English both spoken and written
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Strong leadership (lead by example), tactical skills, result oriented and problem solver
  • Energetic, hands-on, FRIENDLY, flexible, result oriented, motivated and able to work independently
